Dorsal ilium between inferior and anterior gluteal lines; also from edge of greater sciatic notch.

Insertion of Gluteus Minimus

Anterior surface of greater trochanter.

Muscle Action/Function of Gluteus Minimus

Abducts and medially rotates the hip joint.

Arterial (Blood) Supply of Gluteus Minimus

Superior gluteal artery.
